Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Redline ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including freelancers who create accounts and clients who access review links.

2. Description of Service

Redline is a design feedback and client approval platform operated at redlineit.co. It allows freelancers to share design work with clients, collect pinned feedback, and receive formal approvals. Clients can access shared review links without creating an account.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.

You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of someone else without their permission.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Redline offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis and are processed securely through Stripe.

By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to paid features until then. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers via email.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Redline to:

Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringes on the rights of others
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' projects or data
Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or phishing content
Reverse engineer, copy, or resell any part of the Service
Overload or interfere with the Service's infrastructure
Violate any applicable law or regulation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Redline, including project URLs, designs, comments, and files ("Your Content").

By uploading content, you grant Redline a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to share any content you upload. We do not monitor uploaded content but may remove content that is reported as infringing or illegal.

7. Review Links and Client Access

When you share a review link, anyone with that link can view the associated project and leave feedback. You are responsible for who you share review links with.

Redline is not responsible for any content submitted by clients through review links, or for any disputes between you and your clients.

8. Intellectual Property

The Redline name, logo, product design, and underlying software are the intellectual property of Redline and may not be copied, modified, or used without our written permission. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property.

9. Availability and Modifications

We aim to keep Redline available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes that affect paid users.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Redline shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@redlineit.co. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then through binding arbitration or the courts of the jurisdiction in which Redline operates.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
